The Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) is the leading marketing organization for the promotion of leisure and business travel to and within Holland, through the Holland and Lekker weg in eigen land brands.

Holland Marketing
NBTC is active in Europe, Asia and North America and focuses on Holland’s main markets of origin, including the domestic market. NBTC develops dedicated and innovative marketing activities for each market in order to stimulate visits to and within Holland. In addition, NBTC initiates theme years and international events, such as Rembrandt 400 in 2006.

NBTC targets both leisure and business travellers, through a range of marketing and press and PR activities. These activities are the result of sound research, such as market scans, the annual ‘key figures’ study and the three-yearly trend report ‘Destination Holland’.

Organization
NBTC has a worldwide network of eleven offices and one representative office abroad, with its head office in Leidschendam, near The Hague.
In 2008 it will celebrate its 40th anniversary.

Partnerships
The NBTC specialists employ their expertise worldwide, in order to increase the strength of the brand Holland and of the product Holland. The focus is on bringing together people and organisations in the tourism and business sectors.
