'Jazz in de gracht' literally means 'jazz in the canal'. Preparations for the third edition of this unique festival are now underway. The festival is free for all to enjoy. A warm atmosphere will descend on the area between Passantenhaven and Zuidwal. Artists on flat-bottom boats will be mooring at various places to perform their music.

This intercultural event is free and is enjoyed by a wide audience of all kinds of cultures and ages. Music is a language that is understood by all and brings everyone together.

The festival is held on Friday 13th July (a tryout from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.) and Saturday 14th July (from 4.20 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.). It comprises two sections: one with performances on flat-bottom boats (stages) in the water and one taking place over longer periods of time in restaurants. 'Jazz in de gracht' is a fine annual event on the beautiful canals of The Hague.
