| | Various locations in The Hague From 1st to 11th November 2007The Holland Dance Festival is an international dance biennale. It is held every other year and is celebrating its 10th edition in 2007. The festival comprises more than sixty performances by forty dance companies (including the NDT) and artists from the Netherlands and beyond at five theatres or other special locations by famous chorographers such as Jiri Kylian, Sol Leon, Paul Lightfoot, Thom Stuart, Rinus Sprong and The Dutch Don’t Dance Division. There is also a wide variety of dance workshops. The Dance Parade is now a regular feature of the Holland Dance Festival: more than a thousand amateur dancers will be dancing their way through the old town of The Hague. The Holland Dance Festival was established in 1987 by the city of The Hague. It offers a varied line-up to a wide audience. The festival is a large-scale dance biennale that puts the spotlight on dance as an art form. The festival is held every other year and has widened its base considerably over the years.
