Madame Tussaud's

In Madame Tussaud’s on Dam Square in Amsterdam you will meet lots of famous waxworks. Waxworks are live-sized images of real people, made of wax. You will see a lot of famous Dutch people and other celebrities. When you walk among them, it is just like meeting them for real.
You can shake hands with Johan Cruijff, or give Bon Jovi a kiss, embrace Michael Jackson and see who is bigger, Arnold Schwartzenegger or your dad? Don’t forget to bring your camera on your trip through Madame Tussaud Scenerama, so that you can show all your friends who you met while in Amsterdam.
Holland's Golden Age
Apart from waxworks from this century, you will also meet people from Holland’s Golden Age, such as the famous painters Rembrandt, Vermeer, Pieter Stuyvesant and many more. Ordinary people from those days walk along a canal or are just enjoying a drink in an inn. If you want to know what Amsterdam looked like 300 years ago, you shouldn’t miss this part of the Scenerama.
Modern times
Or do you like the modern times better? Go to the floor where Wubbo Ockels, Holland’s first astronaut, will welcome you.
Don’t forget to take a look at the 5-meter-high waxworks of Claas Janszoon. He talks and moves! How? Nobody will spill the beans, so you will have to go and take a look yourself.
