Tourist Information Offices (VVV)

In almost every city or village of some importance, you'll find a tourist information office, easily recognisable by the blue and white VVV sign. Most VVV's offer local and regional tourist information, hotel booking services, local products, brochures and various maps.

Accommodation

The VVV's, often situated in the centre of the city, have qualified, multi-lingual staff to help you find a budget hotel, great campsite or romantic cottage. In general, the services the VVV provide are free of charge.

Brochures and maps

Providing maps and brochures is one of the most attractive services the VVV's provide. Brochures for hotels, local restaurants and attractions are generally free of charge. Detailed maps for a city walk, cycling routes or larger, regional maps are often available at a tiny price.
