The Ferris wheel is over fifty meters high and has 36 closed gondolas with air conditioning, including one VIP gondola with a glass bottom. On July 18, 2015, The Pier reopened to the public, after KondorWessels Vastgoed and DanZep bought it in October of 2014. The renewed Pier is now a true food boulevard, with a contemporary and high-quality range of street food, restaurants, bars, terraces and shops.
