Also known as Bakkum, Castricum aan Zee, with its wide beaches, is itself modestly sized. Its inhabitants are renowned for their friendliness.
Walking area
Lively Castricum a few kilometres down the road more than makes up for the fact that Bakkum itself offers few facilities. An extensive walking area is wedged between the coast and Castricum and houses a children's farm and catering facilities.
