Castles along the IJssel river

Clogs & traditional clothing

From the mouth of the IJssel river you will travel on to the beautiful harbour of Elburg. Along the way you will see the beautiful forests and heathlands of the Veluwe. In the old Dutch towns of Harderwijk, Bunschoten and Spakenburg, one might think that time has stopped in its tracks: many people still wear traditional clothing.
