Gouwzee route (46 km)

This route takes you to Edam, Volendam, Marken and Monnickendam, old fishermen’s villages on the IJsselmeer lake, where you can still meet people in traditional clothing. Along the way, you can also take the ferry from Volendam to Marken. It’s a wonderful route!

Edam – Volendam tour (26 km)

This is a shorter cycling route from Edam to Volendam. Perfect if you don’t want to spend the entire day cycling and would like to have the opportunity to go for a leisurely walk.

Zeevang tour (45 km)

A route filled with ancient villages and beautiful dykes. The tour takes you through centuries-old polders in the area called ‘Zeevang’, past the seven villages of Waterland: Kwadijk, Middelie, Warder, Etersheim, Schardam, Hobrede and Oosthuizen. A unique, historic area!

Beemster tour (50 km)

This route allows you to explore the beautiful Beemster region. Jan Adriaenszoon Leeghwater was the man who impoldered the Beemster between 1607 and 1612, creating an easily recognisable landscape with straight little dykes, ditches and meadows. Today this area is a Unesco World Heritage site and a wonderful place to explore.

Zaanse Schans tour (42 km)

Cycle through the protected polders of Nek, Jisp and Wormer and admire the landscapes beneath the blue sky. Travelling along the River Zaan, you will pass the 17th and 18th-century windmills of the Zaanse Schans and, on your way back, try some delicious Dutch cheese from a cheese farmer in the Wijde Wormer.

Waterland tour (54 or 40 km)

The historic villages of Broek in Waterland, Holysloot, Ransdorp and Zuiderwoude are near Amsterdam, but you will find them to be an entirely different world. Cycle through this extraordinary water-rich area and discover Holland at its most beautiful!
