The play ANNE in Theater Amsterdam has been made accessible for people of various nationalities as well as the deaf and hearing impaired, thanks to a unique translation system.

Unique translation system

Theater Amsterdam, which was specially built for the play ANNE, features various unique technical innovations. Not only in terms of set and multimedia techniques, but also in the form of its unique translation system, which allows the play to be watched in no less than 8 languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch). Using a tablet that you will find awaiting you by your seat and headphones, you can listen to the word-for-word text of the play in audio or in subtitles, or choose a summary per scene.

If you wish to make use of the translation system with a tablet and/or headphones, you can indicate this when reserving your tickets. No extra fee is charged.
