Garden of Noordeinde Palace

Paleistuin park was laid out in 1609 as a garden of Noordeinde Palace. Nowadays, it is a quiet city park where you can go for a walk past scenic beauty and a collection of works of art.

Immediately next to Paleistuin park are the Royal Stables. This listed building houses, among other items, the Golden Carriage of the Royal Family. Unfortunately, the Royal Stables are not open to the public, but you can still come close to it in Paleistuin.

Picnicking in Paleistuin

A picnic in Paleistuin park is one of the nicest ways to enjoy this city park. Diagonally across from the entrance of Paleistuin, you will see Van Prinse & Co., an establishment where you can pick up a picnic basket. Paleistuin is open every day of the week from sunrise to sunset.
