The Omniversum is a film theatre where spectacular wide-screen films are shown. Looking at a film in the Omniversum is a thrilling experience. The Omniversum is the first IMAX dome theatre to have been built in Europe and the only one in the Benelux. The films are magnified 500 times and projected on a dome-shaped screen. This is made possible by a 15,000 Watt projection lamp. You would be able to see this lamp shine brightly from the moon. This and a highly advanced sound system give you the sensation of being in the middle of the action.

The films

The films shown in the Omniversum take you to other worlds: from an expedition to the top of Mt. Everest to a spectacular Grand Canyon rafting adventure. The programme includes documentary-like films in which man, nature, culture, adventure and science take central stage. Films are narrated in either Dutch or English and suitable for all ages. A new film is shown every hour. The programme is regularly changed.

Visit the Omniversum

The Omniversum is open every day of the week. You can park your car in front of the building free of charge.
