The Lucent Danstheater and the Dr Anton Philips Hall are the two most important theatres in The Hague. The Lucent Danstheater was designed by the famous Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas. The Lucent Danstheater is the biggest purpose-designed dance theatre in Holland. No wonder that the Lucent Danstheater is home to one of Europe’s best dancing groups.
Nederlands Dans Theater
The Nederlands Dans Theater was formed in 1959 by twenty dancers who left the Dutch National Ballet. The Nederlands Dans Theater soon became a high-profile dancing group of global fame. A new group, the Nederlands Dans Theater II, was formed in 1978 to manage new talent.
