Liberation Route

When the Allies liberated Europe at the end of the Second World War, they started their route in Normandy. From there, it went all the way to Berlin via Arnhem and Nijmegen, and right around Arnhem and Nijmegen, major events took place. You’ll learn all about this along the Memorial Route (Liberation Route): a unique historic Memorial Route that links up the most important milestones during the advance of the allies, such as historical sites and points of interest.
