Water sports in the IJsselmeer area


The water of the former Zuiderzee burbles invitingly: the area just has to be discovered from the water. Each side of the “Meer” has its own character. And it’s just this variety of landscapes and culture that makes it attractive to go by boat on a tour of discovery. Hobby captains can set off in all directions over the Markermeer, the IJsselmeer, the Randmeers and the inland waters. There’s even enough space on busy summer days. Well-equipped marinas, beautiful beaches for swimming, perfect places for kite flying and peaceful spots for fishing: the banks are ideally equipped for a pleasant stay.
