From Belgium, Holland's neighbour to the south, it's just a short (and comfortable) ride by train to Holland. The IC-Benelux train rides every hour from Brussels to Amsterdam. The Thalys rides the same distance seven times a day and the Maastricht-Brussel Express operates 12x per day between Maastricht and Brussels.
