Can I cancel my participation after I registered myself?
You can cancel your participation before a specific date without being charged any costs. These dates are August 15th (for Showcase September) and November 15th (for Showcase December). If you cancel after these dates € 150,00 will be invoiced to you. We ask you to sign for this when your participation is confirmed.
Who will be my main contact point during the Holland Showcases 2009?
The contact person at your local NBTC office will manage the communication during the Showcases, he or she will also be present during the Showcases.
Are there costs involved in Showcase participation?
Showcases participation is free of charge. The following costs are on your own expense: travel insurance, private transfers, additional nights’ accommodation and personal extras.
Where and when can I find the detailed programmes per Showcase?
Detailed information on the programme is available on this website a few weeks prior to the respective Showcase. Please check the adequate section. In general, each programme consists of: workshop with Dutch MICE partners; educative city programmes; venue site inspections; informal networking moments during lunch, dinner and evening programme.
What is the official language during Showcases?
The entire Showcase programme will be in English.
Where will I be staying during the programme?
Holland Showcases provides overnight accommodation in 4 or 5 star properties. As soon as the accommodations are confirmed you can find details in the programme section of the Showcase website. Your overnight accommodation includes: room rate, breakfast and taxes. Incidentals are at your own expense.
Who is allowed to participate in Holland Showcases 2009?
Showcase participation is only open to MICE executives from Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy and Spain. MICE executives (corporate or agency) are responsible for planning, organising, recommending or making financial decisions for business events outside your home country.There are limited places available, which will be evenly spread between the ten markets. Therefore, we may be forced to make a selection between subscribers based on the information provided in the registration form.
Can I register for all Showcases in 2009?
You can indicate your preferred and second choice Showcase on the registration form. However, you cannot register for both Showcases as each individual is only allowed to attend one Showcase.
Can I participate in all two Showcases 2009?
Unfortunately, you cannot. Our aim is to host a wide range of MICE executives throughout the year. Therefore, each individual is invited to join one of the mentioned Showcases. Please indicate your preference on the registration form.
Can I bring a colleague with me?
Since the number of available places per Showcase are limited we follow the policy of one representative per company.
Do I have to participate in the entire programme?
Yes, if you register for Showcases 2009 you will commit yourself to participate in the entire programme.
Last year I participated in Showcase 2008, am I able to join Holland Showcases 2009 again?
We prefer to give MICE executives who never experienced Holland the change to participate. We will take notice of your interest to join this year in case you participated in Showcase 2008. Your local NBTC office will contact you to discuss the possibilities.
Where can I learn more about the six cities?
Detailed information about the Showcase cities is available in the cities section of this Showcase. In case you should require more background information you can contact your local NBTC office or the city’s Convention Bureau directly.
Is travel to and from Holland arranged by NBTC?
Yes, your local NBTC office will contact you and will arrange travel to and from Holland. He or she will confirm your travel and will provide you with all relevant details.
What day do I have to arrive?
All participants will arrive in Holland on Thursday evening prior to the Showcase. Depending on your home country you will travel by plain or train that day.
When is the departure to my home country?
Departure is Sunday morning or afternoon in order for you to be home no later than Sunday evening (unless otherwise requested by yourself). You will be guided from the city to the airport or train station.
Are transfers organised during the programme?
Yes, all transfers during Showcase are arranged. Several ways of transportation will be used during the programmes.
