PRESS RELEASE

On 4 & 5 September and on 4 & 5 December 2009 the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) organises the Holland Showcases. This is the sixth year the NBTC organises these events. The Showcases have proven to be a perfect opportunity to let meeting planners experience Holland as a meeting destination.

SITE-INSPECTIONS AND NETWORKING

During two days international meeting planners visit two different Dutch cities. After getting to know the hosting city on Friday, the meeting planners get the choice between two other Dutch cities on Saturday. A unique chance  to experience Holland in a way that suits their needs best.
Besides site-inspections, the Holland Showcases contains both formal and informal network opportunities. Those network moments enable meeting planners and the Dutch meeting industry to get acquainted and do business together. The Holland Showcases emphasises on  the experience of Holland as a refreshing and surprising destination.

THE DUTCH CITIES

The first Holland Showcase, which focuses on European meeting planners, takes place on Friday 4 en Saturday 5 September 2009. On the first day, Noordwijk is hosting city. On day two the meeting planners have the choice to visit either Maastricht or Rotterdam.

On Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December 2009, the second Holland Showcase will take place. The Hague is hosting city on day one. The meetingplanners can choose between a city programme in Utrecht or Amsterdam for day two. This second showcase is open to both European and North-American planners.
