Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen
This museum has an extensive collection that ranges from the late Middle Ages to today. Rembrandt's portrait of his son Titus is part of the collection, as are extraordinary early primitives, and prints and drawings by Dürer, Leonardo da Vinci, Cézanne and Picasso.

Historical museum
In 'Het Schielandshuis', a 17th-century building (the only one remaining in Rotterdam) the history of art and culture in Rotterdam is brought to life. While descriptions are given of various influential Rotterdammers, the men and women in the street are not forgotten either. Permanent and changing exhibitions provide a varied picture of the history of this city on the Maas.

Kunsthal Rotterdam
The Kunsthal hosts major temporary exhibitions - from an Andy Warhol retrospective to rows of compact cars - in a massive, multi-story exhibition centre. This art centre, the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum and the Netherlands Architect Institute form the cultural triangle of museums in Rotterdam’s museum park.

Maritime Museum Rotterdam
An interesting collection of model ships, paintings, prints and navigational instruments. The history of Rotterdam harbour and its important role in world trade come to life here. Don’t forget to visit the ‘Buffel,’ a 19th century warship.

Nederlands Architectuurinstituut
With more than 30 exhibitions per year in seven halls, the NAi presents an attractive overview of architecture, both at home and abroad. The NAi has one of the largest architectural collections in the world: 400 archives, 150 collections and 40,000 books and magazines. It does not only deal with architecture and urban planning, it also pays attention to landscape architecture and interior design.
