If classical music is the thing that keeps you out in the evenings, Holland has the week-long Grachtenfestival to offer! The festival brings together some of Europe’s best young talents to the banks of the river IJ in Amsterdam. The concerts will take place in the city’s most special locations, such as the pontoons on the canals, unique private homes, the Anne Frank House, the Hortus Botanicus, and Artis Zoo.

First performances in new Hermitage Amsterdam

The Grachtenfestival is bringing the first musical performances to the famous museum after its reopening in the Amstelhof. The Hermitage Amsterdam showcases some of the most prized collections from its parent museum in St. Petersburg. Consider an evening surrounded by the splendor of the tsars of Russia accompanied by live classical musicians – life in the palaces is only an imagination away!
