Marco V

The Dutch artist possesses all the qualities of a genius artist. Outstanding technical prowess behind the decks, an enviable production repertoire; oodles of creativity and an infectious passion and charisma which have seen him captivate crowds across the 5 continents. From Gatecrasher and Cream Amnesia to Dance Valley and Homelands, Marco's graced nearly every A-List event the global stage has to offer.
In 2007 Marco V released the mixcd Combi:Nations III.

2006 spawned the launch of his phenomenal artist album, 200V firmly cementing his reputation as a spectacularly consistent and versatile music maker.

This followed swiftly from the release of his single "False Light". Not only did the techno tinged track garner global acclaim from every big name DJ on the planet and clubbers alike; but it's nuzzled its way on to Radio 1's 'daytime 'playlist - a feat only a very few dance producers have achieved; and a testament to the Dutch producer's brilliance.

200V came hot on the heels of a flurry of 2005 releases successes. 'More than a Life Away' topped dance charts around the world and "Second Bite" became a favorite for many. Waiting in the wings for 2006 releases are the groovy tech trancer "Arpanet" and 'Red Blue Purple" which borrows its vibe from rock. Both are already creating a massive ripple throughout the territories; and poised to dominate our dancefloors throughout the summer.

These recent achievements come after Marco had already stamped his authority on the music scene with his remix of Energy 52's classic. 'Café Del Mar'. 'Godd', 'In Charge' and 'Simulated' quickly followed capturing a unique bass driven sound which gained widespread appeal to lovers of all kinds of dance genres. This became known as 'The V Sound'; something others have tried to emulate, but without success.

These tracks paved the way for Marco's first album 'Con:Fusion' which became Holland's biggest selling dance album of 2002 before being awarded Best Dance Artist Album at the BBM dance awards later that year. In 2003 he released the compelling 'Loops and Tings' remix as well the outstanding tough edged electro track 'Automanual' which was so popular it got reviewed by every dance magazine twice.

In 2004 Marco charmed his fans once more with his unique mix album Combi:nations. This reached DJ Mag's mixed compilation Top 10 for 2004; and is all set for a hotly anticipated follow-up later this year (2006).
