Kop van Zuid

At the Kop Van Zuid area a new urban district is being developed where historic buildings from the time of the Holland-American Line rub shoulders with the latest in modern architecture.

Nieuwe Binnenweg Area

In this lively area with lots of bars playing all kinds of music, the young and the hip congregate at night. During the day it's busy with people doing their shopping - it's the longest shopping street in Rotterdam!

Veerhaven

The Veerhaven harbour is located in the stately Scheepvaartkwartier area. In this old harbour, historic ships are moored side by side with modern yachts. Several outstanding restaurants are to be found in the area around this port.

Oude Haven

The Oude Haven (old harbour) area in Rotterdam offers a wide selection of terraces and bars, full of people with plenty of entertainment on hand.

Westelijk handelsterrein area 

Discover numerous restaurants and bars, boutiques, galleries and design studios, surprisingly hidden behind the old Dutch (ware) houses at the Van Vollenhovenstraat. The houses date back to 1894 but the site has recently been renovated.

West Blaak

The West Blaak is actually a street which accommodates many companies and can be seen as a business area. But there is one thing that makes it particularly interesting… a skate park. There is a lane to just skate around, a special zone with eleven obstacles for stunt skating and an area where you can chill out and relax while watching other skaters daring their tricks! 

Witte de Withstraat

Witte de Withstraat is one of the important cultural streets in Rotterdam. In this street many trendy shops can be found, but most important of all: galleries. Witte de Withstraat is the centre of cultural and artistic expression. 

Delfshaven

Delfshaven is a unique area of Rotterdam filled with history, art, culture, great café’s and restaurants and lots of shopping opportunities.
