GLOW Festival 2008
7 November 2008 until 16 November 2008
Like GLOW 2006 and 2007, the art and design installations of GLOW 2008 will offer a new outlook on the nocturnal potential of the city. Artists, lighting designers and architects will bring invisible parts of the city to light. For all installations it is self-understood that they work along the parameters of contemporary lighting design and/or that they are outstanding in their artistic qualities.

Tromp International Music Competition & Festival
15 November 2008 until 23 November 2008
TROMP International Music Competition and Festival is an international competition, inviting participants from all over the world. It is held every two years; since 2004 its subjects are string quartet and percussion on a rotating basis. The 19th edition, which will take place between 15 and 23 November 2008 will be devoted to String Quartet. The Next percussion competition will take place in 2010.
