The Hague, again shows itself as the international centre of the dance at the 12th edition of the Holland Dance Festival

On Saturday November 7th 2009 Amsterdam will celebrate the yearly Museum Night.

Crossing Border is the festival where literature, music, film and the visual arts combine to take central stage

During the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) from November 19 through 29, you will be able to choose from well over 300 documentaries that are shown in film theaters in downtown Amsterdam. More than one hundred will be shown in Holland for the very first time, or even for the first time anywhere in the world.

Christmas time in the region is truly magical with Xmas markets full of seasonal delights such as German gingerbreads, shaped almond cookies and mulled wine and cider.
