Rotterdam Airport prides itself in its short check-in and check-out times. For VLM Airlines flights check-in is possible up to 20 minutes in advance, for KLM Cityhopper up to 30 minutes and for transavia.com flights it is possible to check in at up to 40 minutes prior to departure.

Public transport
When proceeding your journey by public transport you can take the RET Airport Shuttle service 33, which connects Rotterdam Airport with Rotterdam Central Station. The journey time is approximately 20 minutes and the bus runs at 10 minutes intervals. On the airport you will find the bus stop right next to the terminal building. Travel cards suitable for local buses can be purchased from the bus driver (one way ticket: EUR 2,70).
