Fourth annual Holland Press Event and Awards held on 11 March 2014


This year’s press event and awards took place on 11 March at the Institute of Directors, London. The winners of this year’s categories for best articles written on the following subjects went to:

Dutch City – Steve Bustin – Pride Life Magazine
Dutch Icon – Chrissie Walker – Mostlyfood.co.uk
The Arts in Holland – Richard Dorment – The Daily Telegraph
Cycling in Holland – Glen Mutel – National Geographic Traveller
Off the beaten track – Anthony Lambert - Wanderlust

Alan Wooding was awarded Journalist of the Year 2013 for articles written throughout the year for the Premier Newspaper Group.

The winners received hand-painted vases from Royal Delft.

The event also provided the opportunity to hear about what is new in Holland for 2014/15 with particular attention to the re-opening of The Mauritshuis and Van Gogh Europe 2015.
