Shopping paradises such as Kalverstraat and Bijenkorf are internationally renowned. Yet there are other shopping centers to discover within walking distance of each other. These include 'De Negen Straatjes', 'Prinsheerlijk' and the Jordaan in the city center and Beethovenstraat and the 'Cornelis Schuyt' in the Museumkwartier (Museum district). LOGOS The specialties of each shopping area are marked on the map with logos, such as department stores, art and antique shops, shoe shops, book shops, fashion shops, cafés, restaurants, etc. Despite the differences between these shopping centers, they all have one thing in common: Amsterdam’s friendliness and the atmosphere of a special world city. LEAFLET SHOPPING IN AMSTERDAM The leaflet ‘Shopping in Amsterdam’ with a map of the 16 shopping areas is available free of charge at many shops.
