The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam

If you’re in Amsterdam you must visit the National Museum of Holland: the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. The National Museum is located at Museum Square, which is situated in the city center of Amsterdam. Rembrandt’s Night Watch (de Nachtwacht) is one of the most famous works by a Dutch master and will steal your breath away.
Rijksmuseum has one of the finest collections with paintings by great masters of the 17th century, such as Frans Hals, Jan Steen, Vermeer and Rembrandt van Rijn'.
Just like at the Historical Museum of The Hague, the Rijksmuseum presents beautiful, luxury dolls’ houses, furnished in the finest detail, dating back to 1676.
If you can't make it to Royal Delft than you can always enjoy some of the finest Delftware from tea-sets to vases at the National Museum.

Relocation of the Night Watch

Rembrandt van Rijn's famous Night Watch was returned to the Rijksmuseum's main location in March. Due to the renovation work on the museum, the painting was exhibited in another wing in the past 9 years. You can watch a video about the painting being moved here.
