Heather Tucker is a travel writer, blogger and photographer who is addicted to pens, paper, hotels and hippos. Born in Indiana, USA, her childhood years were filled with downtown corn roasts, riding her bike to Walgreens and munching on soft pretzels in the over chlorinated air of the Hub Pool.
At 16 she walked onto a plane with a Cheshire cat grin, headed for Estonia via New York and Helsinki to live the life of a Rotary Youth Ambassador. In between learning how to walk in heeled boots on the ice covered cobblestone streets of Tallinn and eating sour cream topped solyanka soup, she realized Europe was the place for her. In 1998 she moved to London, England where she lived for nine years before packing her bags once more in 2007 - this time Holland bound.
