GEM

Every year, GEM organises around seven shows that concentrate on Dutch and international contemporary art. All kinds of media are represented in the exhibitions, such as video, painting, sculpture, drawing, film and photography.

Museum and More

GEM shares its premises with the The Hague Museum of Photography and a restaurant. It’s also located next to ‘Gemeentemuseum Den Haag’ (Municipal Museum The Hague) and science museum Museon. GEM is ideal if you want to combine one or more museums and enjoy a good lunch. The terrace in the sun is fantastic during the summer.

Art in The Hague

If you’re in The Hague and you like contemporary art, you should visit GEM. GEM is also surrounded by museums with exhibitions in other disciplines. All together the museums form a marvelous cultural collection of which GEM is an essential component.
