Design takes on meaning in this place, which is the home of design foundation Social Label. Not only through the interior and the delicious food, but especially through the philosophy behind the products and ideas. Ideal for out-of-the-box brainstorming sessions, for example in the appealing workshops and meeting rooms in the Social Label lab. The WerkWarenHuis also offers various consultation offices, while the restaurant can be rented as a meeting area or as a wonderful location for a company party. Socially responsible entrepreneurship

Besides being a concept store and meeting place, the WerkWarenHuis is also a social design lab. The aim is to 'create something from nothing', a Gesamtkunstwerk over a period of ten years, in collaboration with designers, creative entrepreneurs, professionals, educators and social groups. Together with studios throughout the Netherlands, Social Label develops design products that are beautiful and tailor-made. The project IK BEN WAT IK MAAK (I am what I make) allows people with poor job prospects to get the opportunity to create and showcase something beautiful, which in turn creates pride. The WerkWarenHuis is a place where people, products, buildings and experience come together in a socially responsible way.
