The campaign includes leading Dutch cultural attractions and aims to encourage visitors from the UK to travel with campaign partner Ryanair. It also focuses on the proximity of Dutch cities in relation to one another and aims to encourage a regional spread and city hopping.
Escher in the Palace
Housed in a former Royal palace, the museum is dedicated to the work of the world famous graphic artist M.C. Escher. Until 14 May 2017, exclusive photography by Escher is on display. Escher, close up offers an insight into his mind and daily life.
The picture gallery displays some of the finest examples of Dutch paintings from the Golden Age. Masterpieces such as Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring and The Goldfinch by Fabritius are on permanent display.
With over 700 concerts a year the Concertgebouw offers a varied programme featuring world’s best musicians, orchestras and a diverse selection of musical genres from classical to pop.
The collection tells the story of 800 years of Dutch art and history, from the Middle Ages to Mondrian. The Gallery of Honour forms the heart of the museum, displaying world-famous masterpieces by Vermeer and Rembrandt.
Van Gogh Museum
The museum is home to the world’s largest collection of works by Van Gogh. In March 2017, two recovered stolen paintings by Van Gogh are on public display after fourteen years.
