- Spend the night on board the pleasant, comfortable ship, the MS Sarah.
- Cycle along meandering rivers and through beautiful Dutch landscapes.
- Start and end point: Amsterdam or Maastricht.
Your trip will take you along the Meuse, Lek, Vecht and Linge through North Holland, South Holland, Utrecht, Gelderland, North Brabant and Limburg. In Limburg the Meuse runs right along the border, which means you’ll enjoy a real Belgian beer on a Belgian terrace one day, and an apfelstrüdel at a German Konditorei the next.
You can board the ship in Amsterdam or Maastricht. During the cycle tour, you will have ample time to explore the highlights of the beautiful regions near the rivers. Visit the bunkers in Maastricht, the extraordinary white village of Thorn, or the famous castle gardens of Arcen in Limburg. You’ll enjoy that typically Limburgian hospitality.
In Utrecht, North and South Holland you’ll experience traditional Holland. You will visit a real Dutch cheese farm as well as the crystal factory of Royal Leerdam. Watch the master glassblowers at work and discover how the beautiful glass is made. Enjoy the view of the imposing mansions along the picturesque Vecht.
In the footsteps of Market Garden
