There is no doubt that A'DAM Lookout offers the best view of Amsterdam. Towering high above the city, it offers two restaurants, an interactive exhibition and a spectacular swing.
There is no doubt that A'DAM Lookout offers the best view of Amsterdam. The tower in Amsterdam Noord once served as Shell’s headquarters, but now it is a place where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the city, a great meal, and an interactive exhibition. And real adventurers can take a ride on one of the swings that take you just over the edge.
- Enjoy the breathtaking view.
- Find a table at the revolving restaurant and see every part of the city.
- Take a chance and swing just over the edge of the tower.
Your adventure at A'DAM Lookout starts as soon as you step into the elevator. With its glass ceiling and lighting, it shows you how tall the building really is. You’ll reach the 20th floor in just 22 seconds, almost one floor per second! When you step out of the elevator, you are met by the fantastic view. Enjoy a drink, explore the interactive exhibition, discover the model of the building, admire the view from the open-air observation terrace, and even get on a swing that takes you just over the edge. Everything is perfectly safe, of course.
Dining at the highest level
Dinner is a very special affair at restaurant Moon. High above the city, this circular restaurant revolves around its axis in the space of an hour. It’s the perfect way to see all of Amsterdam. And since the restaurant only has window tables, you will always have first-class seats. Please remember to book a table in advance since Moon is a popular restaurant.
The area north of the IJ in Amsterdam has developed rapidly in recent years. An increasing number of restaurants and cafés find a place here and Eye Amsterdam rubs shoulders with A’DAM Lookout. If you plan to take the ferry across the IJ, why not stroll through the railway station where you will find a modern shopping center in a 19th-century building.
