Walking in De Hoge Veluwe

De Hoge Veluwe is Holland’s biggest national park, boasting 5500 hectares of forest, heathland, marshland and sand drifts. A perfect place to enjoy nature. The park management has created a large number of hiking paths with signage, for which comprehensive itineraries are available.

On foot to the Kröller-Müller Museum

The Kröller-Müller Museum with its unique sculpture garden is located in the heart of the park. You can also go to the Visitor Center, the Museonder, and the Landscape Garden. Wild animal spotting stations have been set up in several places throughout the park. If you are lucky, you can see red deer, mouflon and wild boar at the end of the day.

Walking routes on De Hoge Veluwe

Twelve walking routes take you to the most beautiful parts of the national park. The length of the routes varies from 2.6 to 8 km. There are also four connecting routes that connect the entrances Hoenderloo and Otterlo with the Kröller-Müller Museum, Visitor Center, and Jachthuis St. Hubertus.
