Location and getting to Noordwijk
Noordwijk is located on the North Sea coast in the Dutch province of South Holland, which is known for its tulips, windmills and historic cities. The coastal area enjoys a central location; the cities of Amsterdam and the Hague are 40 km and 20 km away, Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport 25 km and the world-famous tulip garden Keukenhof 10 km. Like many other coastal areas in Holland, Noordwijk also has two districts; inner Noordwijk inland, and Noordwijk aan Zee on the coast. In the summer, a free shuttle bus connects the center to the beach. The bus also goes past the free parking lot at the Gooweg/N444 intersection.
