FutureLand
Come closer to the heart of the port. From the FutureLand information center (Europaweg 902, Rotterdam), there is a great view of the port area. From this starting point, you can take an impressive boat tour of the newest port area, operate a crane, or enjoy a 360° look behind the scenes of the port area. FutureLand is open from Tuesday through Friday and Sunday.
Explore the port from the water with Spido
The best way to see the port is aboard a Spido. Opt for one of the boat tours, cruises or day trips and explore the special architecture of Rotterdam, its historic buildings and the breath-taking views from a fully equipped and comfortable ship. During the boat tour, which takes nearly 90 minutes, you will enjoy the skyline of Rotterdam from the water, sail past gigantic container cranes, and admire the former cruise ship, the SS Rotterdam.
Delfshaven and Katendrecht
When you are here, the picturesque river port of Delfshaven with its rich history is well worth a visit. You can enjoy great food and drinks, a night on the town or a peaceful walk.
Just a stone’s throw away is Katendrecht, the hip and bright sailor district. Katendrecht is a dream destination for foodies with its great restaurants and characteristic bars. The SS Rotterdam, where you can end the day with snacks and drinks or a romantic dinner on deck, is the highlight of the district.
