‘Het Vredespaleis’ (The Peace Palace) in The Hague originated from the ideals of pacifism and world peace. At the end of the 19th century, these principles were blooming as never before. When the Peace Palace was finished in 1913, the palace was just as grand as the idea of world peace itself.

Would you like to visit the Peace Palace? Tours are offered to groups of 20 people only a few times per year. The tours must be booked in advance. The visitor’s center on the palace grounds is opened every day, however, except on Mondays. You can discover an exhibition and movie at the visitor’s center.
