More than just a garden

In addition to over 200 model gardens, The Gardens of Appeltern has much more to offer and experience. Ask for gardening advice at the advice centre, visit the plant market or have the designers at the sketching pavilion create a sketch for your garden [requires an appointment]. Activities, theme weekends and workshops are organised at The Gardens of Appeltern on a regular basis. There is a special area for children to engage in natural play and discovery, with several treehouses, a gnome path and a hedge labyrinth.

Appeltern Whisper Tour

The free Appeltern whisper tour is a fun and informative way to explore the park. Information signs mark the attractions throughout the park. The pod catcher you receive on entering the park offers practical information for specific gardens and helps you navigate through the park.
