Art and design shopping in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is an inspiring city for many artists and designers. It has been for centuries because most of the ‘old masters’ lived in Amsterdam. And today you can still find a lot of art and design in Amsterdam. Why not explore the art and design shops in Amsterdam after seeing the museums?

  • Browse art and antique shops in the Spiegelkwartier.
  • For works made by young designers, visit the galleries at the Rozengracht.
  • Shop for design furniture and accessories at The Frozen Fountain.

Canals

There are many galleries with special exhibitions along Amsterdam’s canals. Check out GO Gallery for modern art and street art, or visit FOAM on Keizersgracht if you love photography.
