NEMO
Science and technology
Everything at NEMO has to do with science and technology. You will smell, hear, feel and see how the world works. If you are looking for a truly stimulating and fascinating experience, NEMO has a single rule you need to follow: touch everything because only then you will discover more than the eye can see!
NEMO’s world
The NEMO building is a remarkable green structure next to Amsterdam Central Station. Everyone who is curious, is welcome. NEMO's primary intended audience consists of children aged 6 to 16 but adults are welcome to learn about science and technology, too. In other words, visiting NEMO is the smart thing to do!

NEMO is open from Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5.30 pm. From February 16th through September 8th and during shorter school holidays, NEMO is also open on Mondays. The entry price is €16,50 per person aged 4 and over; children under 4 enter free of charge. Tickets can easily and more cheaply be ordered online.

Nearby
NEMO is not the only attraction in Holland’s capital; there are many other highlights nearby. The famous Anne Frank House is well worth a visit, but EYE Amsterdam film museum, Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum should also be on your to do list.
Editors’ tip
If you are visiting Amsterdam and would like to explore nature, rent a bicycle for the day! There are plenty of opportunities around Amsterdam. There are countless beautiful routes but we highly recommend the route along the Amstel river, which allows you to explore the beautiful water-rich area near Amsterdam.
