The cellar of the Derlon Hotel boasts unique archaeological finds. Before the hotel was built, digging work revealed structures from the Roman era. It was decided to modify the structure of the hotel so that the excavated treasures remained visible.

The archaeological finds at the site of Hotel Derlon originate from the 2nd and 3rd centuries CE. It will give you an idea of how the Romans must have lived at the time. You will see the gateway to a temple, a water well and parts of the square and Meuse rock-paved road.

The museum cellar is opened daily. As a guest, you will enjoy breakfast with a view of the archaeological finds. After breakfast, from 11:00 on workdays and 12:00 in the weekend, the cellar is freely accessible to other visitors.
