Trompenburg Tuinen & Arboretum
The garden of Rotterdam
Test your knowledge of plants at the Trompenburg gardens. There is a sign with a description available for every plant, shrub and tree. Plant lovers from around the world have been there before you, but the park is also popular with locals. Trompenburg is a haven of peace amid the hustle and bustle of metropolitan Rotterdam. With or without a guide, you are free to stroll past the pear court, goldfish pond, oak tree court and around a dozen other gardens. It is worth visiting the Trompenburg gardens several times per year because the park changes with the seasons.
