If you are traveling to Holland, it may be a good idea to choose Eindhoven Airport as your destination airport. Eindhoven is the fifth largest city in Holland and well-known as a center of design and advanced technology. Do you want to travel on to Amsterdam? You can easily take a train or bus to the capital.
Shuttle buses are waiting for you at Eindhoven Airport to take you to the city center and Eindhoven railway station:
• Line 401: departs every ten minutes.
• Line 145: departs every 30 minutes from Mondays through Fridays and once per hour in weekends.
The bus ticket costs €3 and can be bought at the desk in the bus station.
You can also travel by train to Amsterdam Central Station, either directly or with a transfer in (Utrecht). A train departs every 10 minutes and takes 80 minutes to transport you from Eindhoven to Amsterdam. A train ticket costs €19.20; a return ticket costs €38.40.
You can also travel to Amsterdam by AirExpressBus. This bus departs directly from Eindhoven Airport to Amsterdam, with a stop in Utrecht although you do not have to switch buses. You can store your suitcases in the bus’ baggage compartment. The Amsterdam bus station is located across the street from Gray Line Amsterdam (on Prins Hendrikkade).
You can buy tickets via the AirExpressBus website (until one day before departure) and other points of sale (such as some VVV tourist offices in Holland). Check the AirExpressBus website for departure and arrival times, rates, and more.
