The ABC Architectuurcentrum in Haarlem was founded towards the end of the 1980s. Its aim is to stimulate interest in and the quality of the built environment in Haarlem and surrounding areas. In addition to several exhibitions the ABC Architectuurcentrum organises a range of activities, lectures and gatherings to draw attention to local architecture.
Exhibitions and guided tours
You can attend exhibitions, workshops, lectures, symposia, discussions and other stimulating activities at the ABC Architectuurcentrum. Visitors include residents of Haarlem and tourists but also urban designers, architects, government officers and policy-makers.
The most interesting activity you should plan at the ABC Architectuurcentrum is the guided tour. A guide will take you on a guided tour through the city, on foot or by bicycle, and tell you all about the architecture of Haarlem.
Visit the ABC Architectuurcentrum
The ABC Architectuurcentrum is open to visitors every day of the week except Mondays. If you want to take a guided tour of the city, we recommend contacting the centre in advance. Admission to the ABC Architectuurcentrum is free of charge.
