The tour covers a distance of about 3.6 kilometres on the city river and canal system and is a unique way to explore ‘s-Hertogenbosch. You will sail past beautiful monuments, exciting waterways and imposing fortifications, sometimes in the open air and sometimes passing beneath old buildings. All this while listening to the exciting stories hidden behind the old facades and in dark storage cellars.
Heaven and hell tour on the centuries old Binnendieze
During the boat tour, you will listen to stories of the medieval master who lived and worked in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. You will also discover the fantastical figures that are so characteristic of his famous paintings. The age of Bosch comes to life on the water thanks to the most advanced technology, such as video mapping and 3D projection. Sail through the dark hellegat (hellhole) that Bosch depicted in his work and discover what lies at the end of the tunnel! At the end of the tour you will sail through the Singelgracht canal to De Groote Hekel, where you will be invited to enjoy the special film Heaven and Hell.
