An artists' village

At the turn of the century it was the birthplace of the most famous Dutch Art School: the Bergen School. Bergen is quite rightly known as an artists' village - Art on the Coast - where you will find many exhibitions, music performances, art fairs, museums and galleries. The internationally renowned music festival "Holland Music Sessions" is organized in the summer months. Attractive pavement cafes in the centre of Bergen complete your stay.
