Domburg

Enter into the footsteps of painters Piet Mondriaan and Jan Toorop. At the turn of the century they visited Domburg on a number of occasions to seek inspiration in the blue skies, the green landscape and the murmur of the sea. Many other performers and artists followed and shaped Domburg's mundane appeal today.
Behind the dunes
The center of the village lies just behind the dunes. Along the beach, the walkway that leads across the dunes is lined with stunning residences erected at the turn of the century by the first visitors to the resort. Domburg is the oldest seaside resort in Zeeland where visitors would go to follow a "cure". Today, the pure sea air and natural surroundings still offer plenty of opportunity to cure.
Activities
Time in Domburg hasn't stood still. The village now also offers a golf course in the dunes, a subtropical leisure pool, a wide golf course in the dunes and luxurious, modern accommodation, also available in historic buildings. The village itself has a picturesque appeal.
