Xanten's Christmas market is small, yet sophisticated. The old quarter is filled with 35 wooden huts offering a beautiful selection of gift ideas. The mighty Cathedral of St. Victor provides a spectacular backdrop.

On Saturday 19th December between 7pm and 9.15pm the street lights will be switched off to create a magic sight in the historic town centre of Buren. Candles and torches will light the streets, with choirs, theatrical companies and music societies performing across the town centre.
