How to get there

The Lower Rhine is easy to reach from the UK - whether you take the train, ferry or fly there, it's only a few hours away. To make the most out of your stay, we highly recommended that you explore the region by car, although this is not essential.

By Air

Fly direct into Dusseldorf (Weeze) airport, in the heart of the region with regular Ryanair flights. Flight time from UK approximately 1 hour.

Book with Rail Europe and travel with Eurostar (from London St Pancras, Ebsfleet or Ashford International) to Brussels Midi and change onto a train to Roosendaal. In Roosendaal you can catch a train to Arnhem and Nijmegen in the Lower Rhine.

Take your car using one of the ferry connections below or hire a car on arrival in the region. There are many companies to choose from including Hertz, Avis, Europcar and Sixt
